Tomato

Tomato is the vegetable that is produced the most in Turkey, and it takes up 42% of total vegetable production in the country. Being the fifth most tomato exporting country in the world, 60% of Turkey’s total tomato export, which equaled 551 thousand tons, was to Russia, Ukraine, Syria, Iraq, and Romania. Turkey produced a total of 13,2 million tons of tomatoes in 2020.
